Speed and Strategy: Highlights from the Bench Active Games Hybrid Race

Written by KILOS.PH | Apr 17, 2026 8:18:58 AM

The Bench Active Games emerged as a high-octane addition to the local fitness calendar, serving as a specialized hybrid race that drew the attention of the city’s most dedicated HYROX enthusiasts. Organized by Bench Active, the event was a masterclass in combining functional strength with raw speed. KILOS.PH was well-represented, with high-profile members like Nico Bolzico and David Licauco stepping onto the course to test their conditioning. The technical integrity of the event was further bolstered by our very own Coach Gab Rosario, who served as a key member of the organizing team.

The competition was fierce, featuring established athletes like Coach Mauro Lumba, but the standout performance of the day came from one of our most promising coaches, Aris Siegfrid Serquina. In a display of exceptional pacing and explosive power, Coach Aris recorded the fastest time for Men, winning the event outright. His victory is a direct reflection of the caliber of coaching found at KILOS.PH, proving that our instructors don't just teach the standard—they define it on the podium.

Reflecting on the Bench Active Games, it is clear that hybrid racing has a permanent home in the Philippines. The success of our coaches and members highlights the effectiveness of the specialized training protocols we utilize in Pasig. While the 2026 games have concluded, the momentum generated by Coach Aris’s win and the participation of our elite community continues to drive the demand for high-performance training that bridges the gap between traditional gym work and competitive racing.
